Just done it, my flat down to Limehouse Basin  up to Islington tunnel and home. Good stuff ! Well Done ME !!  A long term goal achieved, or reachieved this at least.10.3 miles according to my Garmin.  Overhelmingly good stuff, 26 don't seam like too far right now, all those cold 'orrable days in Jan. n Feb. now worth while. A long term goal achived, onwards and upwards, Enfield, anyone ? :-)

First time I did it sans smoke, which is an "interesting", the pills and or lack of fags are defnitly affecting my mood. I am definitly less happy and more angry/pissed off at the moment. This not good but livable with, as the potential gains are well worth the disadvantages. I don't know if this is conected  but it took me SEVEN, yes seven miles before I found any real rhythm,amazing couldn't believe it. Sure it takes me a while to warm up and I can be a right GRIZZLEBUM for even the first couple of miles but SEVEN, bleedin 7 miles. I don't belive it.

As regards the runnin n smoking thing. I 'm deffo much less out of breath than before and my endurance dose seam to be better ( very early days ,ofcourse) I was hoping I could get faster but hopefuly better endurance will turn into more speed over time. Also seam to have recovered quicker and more fully. All good stuff I 'spose
